During the Restaurant Practical, students put their newly acquired culinary skills training to the test, spending time on the hot line, on the pastry and cold line, at the prep station, and in the dining room.

Degree Programs
Associate - Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts

The Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Associate of Applied Science Degree Program at Texas Culinary Academy is designed to combine demonstration classes and hands-on, practical courses in professionally equipped, contemporary kitchens. As part of the program, students can learn classical cooking methods and the qualitative aspects of food preparation, including nutrition and sanitation. Plus, under the guidance of our executive chefs, students are encouraged to explore their own style and creativity. All of our programs include a general education component that can provide solid academic foundation for our student's career and personal growth.

Certificate - Le Cordon Bleu Patisserie and Baking

In our Le Cordon Bleu Patisserie and Baking Program at TCA, the core culinary curriculum is based on the hands-on teaching of patisserie and baking skills. Our experienced instructors can expose students to a variety of styles that will help them to develop their own culinary style. Encompassing the range of baking and pastry techniques, from old-world classics to the newest innovations in the field, our program allows you to cultivate your skills to meet the high demand.
