Degree Programs
Bachelor - Business Administration

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management exposes students to concepts that students can expect to utilize in business. The program centers around managerial skills required in planning, organizing, and controlling workflow in organizations and on directing, coaching, motivating people for effective performance. In addition, this program is designed to help students understand various management theories, essential management functions and their interrelationships, and the global environment of today's business. The program is supported by introductory and advanced general education coursework in English, mathematics, psychology, and sociology.

Bachelor - Information Technology: Computer Systems Security

The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a concentration in Computer Systems Security program aims to provide students with a comprehensive knowledge and skills in various aspects of security as it relates to computer systems. Students will study the essentials of computer systems security including network security; Web, Internet and E-Commerce security; and wireless security.

Bachelor - Graphic Design

The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design aims to prepare students for a variety of careers in design and media industries. Students can develop and enhance drawing, design, and typographical skills to create professional graphic solutions. Digital imaging, computer illustration, digital media, editorial and publishing design, prepress, environmental design, and advertising techniques are used to refine concepts and develop students' individual skills and talents. Art direction, projection management, and portfolio classes prepare students for their professional careers.

Associate - Computer Network Operations

The Computer Network Operations Degree Program can be completed in as little as 18-months as a day program and in as few as 21-months as an evening program. The Computer Network Operations Program is designed to prepare students for system wide information technology (IT), Intranet and Internet positions. We offer courses which explain more advanced network concepts like file server, client configurations, protocol stacks and multi-platform integration in an authentic, managed network environment.

The general education components enrich the program with a broad liberal arts background. The classroom experience is enhanced by an internship in the final quarter.

Associate - Criminal Justice

This program is designed to prepare students to enter into the criminal justice profession in a variety of first-tier positions. Students of the program are exposed to the foundational areas of the discipline: investigation and law enforcement, law and courts, and corrections. The program also addresses social deviant behavior and terrorism.

Students in the Criminal Justice program should be aware that additional education may be required for employment in some positions.

Associate - Medical Assisting

This program is designed to prepare graduates to work as medical assistants primarily in ambulatory settings such as medical offices and clinics. Medical assistants are multi-skilled professionals who assist in patient care management. They serve as an important link between the patient and the health care delivery system and provide essential support in the areas of patient care, medical and lab procedures management and office administration. Student can gain practical, administrative, interpersonal and clinical skills, which will give them the technical ability and versatility needed to establish careers in the field of allied health services. General education courses can provide students a well-rounded education.

Upon graduation from the Medical Assisting Program, students will be awarded a specialized degree and should be able to demonstrate the workplace skills of problem solving and rational thinking, professionalism in interpersonal situations and business functions, the ability to perform patient-related clinical duties and laboratory procedures as appropriate to the clinical setting, the ability to perform the administrative duties of medical office management including reception, medical coding and bookkeeping, secretarial, medical records and computer applications.
